Frequently Asked Questions

Are you fully licensed and insured?

Yes. We are fully insured and licensed by the Buckinghamshire County Council.

What areas do you cover?

Anyone is welcome to attend the day care, however our pet taxi will only be a service within the catchment areas of  Stoke Poges, Gerrards Cross, Chalfont St. Peter, Chalfont St. Giles, Jordans and Seer Green.

Do our dogs have to come on the same days each week?
Our minimum requirement is one half day per week, on the same day if possible, to prevent disruption to the rest of the group. You can of course add extra days assuming we have availability but we please ask you to keep as much of a routine for us and the dogs as possible as it's important to maintain a healthy group dynamic.

Does my dog need to be dropped in by a certain time?

Yes. All dogs MUST be dropped in by 10am so that we can maintain our daily schedule. We don't offer the half day as an afternoon slot as we try to encourage the dogs to have some down time after the morning excitement.

Can I bring lunch for my dog?

Yes of course. If you have a puppy that needs lunch we have a fridge to store food ready to feed them at lunch time. All we ask is that you please bring the food in a sealed and named container.

Is the kennel cough vaccination compulsory to attend day care?

It IS a requirement for your dog to have the kennel cough vaccination to attend our day care. Being a highly contagious, airborne disease, they can pass it onto other dogs and being in a group environment, it's our responsibility to ensure all the dogs coming to us are protected against this.

What is your cancellation policy?

We allow cancellation with a minimum of 24 hours notice, free of charge. Any cancellations within the last 24 hours will be non-refundable as we will have turned down other dogs. Dependent on our availability and the situation, we can give you credit back to book in another day of your choice. We will try to be as accommodating as possible.

Do you take dogs that haven't been spayed or castrated?

We accept bitches who haven't been spayed but NOT when they are in season or pregnant. Intact males would be accepted up until the age of 8 months, however, after this it is common to see behavioural changes in a group environment. This isn't always the case but to keep dominant and disruptive behaviour to a minimum, this will be our policy.

Do you accept puppies?

Puppies can attend day care providing they are over 12 weeks old and their last vaccination was at least 2 weeks prior to their first day care visit.

Do you clean the dogs before they are dropped home?

As we're sure all you dog owners know, your pups are most happy when rolling around in the dirt! We're sure they'd love to come back home to you showing you how much of a great day they've had, but we would quickly become very unpopular! Therefore, we promise to clean your dogs down as best we can before sending them home for the day.
